I would've rated 5 stars but our server was meh. I had lunch with a couple of girlfriends, one with a toddler. They had a table ready high chair, coloring book and all. One of my friends and I stuck with the same tried true favorite soup and entree combo. Minestrone was good. Chicken fettuccine was awesome, creamy flavorful moist pan fried chicken. Our other friend got the fried lasagna dish, she really liked it as well. Aaand of course there's the bread sticks, always good. Our server was kinda awkward. But hey whatever, it's the lack of service that bothered me. Just forgot things here and there, took awhile to come around, didn't acknowledge gratitude, sour expression, things of that nature. I like the food too much not to come back though. Price-value-quality ratio very good.

This Olive Garden is SIGNIFICANTLY better than the one on Galley. We've never had an issue here-ever. The service is always timely, food is always hot and no mistakes on our orders. I can't complain. I will always go to this location over the one on galley if I have a choice. Oh and if you're looking for suggestions- The Shrimp Scampi Fritta is TO DIE FOR. And the Raviolli de Portebello is also really tasty.

Olive Garden really has never impressed me no matter where in the country I've visited. The food is always edible, but just eh. In fact I like Fazoli's lasagna and breadsticks better. When I pulled up to Olive Garden a couple of nights ago there were about four employees sitting out back (in plain view) smoking. It was really unclassy and makes you wonder if they come right back in to prepare/ serve food. This location seemed to have very bright lighting inside. Dimming the lights would have made for a better dinner experience, especially seeing as they crammed my fiancee and I in a small back room with several other packed tables, when the other parts of the dining room were sparsely seated. Olive Garden is definitely not my first choice when it comes to Italian food. Thankfully we had a gift card, we probably won't be back until we get another one.

The food here was decent, but their silverware and glasses were DISGUSTING! It's also pretty pricey. I could get way better food at that price.

Dang! Sunday lunch at OG is not the same as the all you can eat lunch special during the weekdays. Me no likey. Everything is so expensive...was expecting to pay 7 bucks for all you can eat soup, salad and breadsticks. Instead, the only option really was a dinner entree. Ordered the lasagna ($13-14) and it came with soup or salad and breadsticks. Lasagna was okay...but I love the zuppa toscana.

*GF Review - Tuscan Steak Brings Them Up to 4 Stars* -I've been to many OGs and never thought the food or service was anything more than 3 stars. This was the first time I'd been back since I'd gone Gluten and soy free. The Tuscan Steak was really good. The service at this location was just as bad as any other OG, but now I know that when I'm in a bind and I need something to eat I can add OG to my list of options.

Ambiance: Every location, including this one is pretty identical. Clean, but the place screams "franchise restaurant" and Sysco-purchased food stuffs. Lots of tables. Service: Friendly, but I always feel like the servers are reciting their "act" from a script. Seems a little phony and insincere to me anyway. Food: Funny that this place is tagged as "Italian" here on Yelp. This place is anything but Italian. Now I know what you may be thinking, that there really are no truly authentic Italian places in town, and I would have to agree with you. However, there are some pretty decent Italian-American places in town (you know those Mom And Pop style pasta places like Roman Villa, Luigi's and Pannino's)/ The food here is downright awful. I have tried numerous dishes here, and they all resemble Noodle-Roni and Pasta-Roni type dishes. Food is all pretty bland, lacking even basic Italian ingredients. Very little taste of Garlic in anything (with the loan exception of all the Garlic Salt they pour on their breadsticks). I do have to admit they do a pretty decent garden salad, but that alone is not worth having to endure one of their Chef-Boyar-Dee quality dishes. Overall, keeping my commitment to getting most restaurants in El Paso County reviewed, I did go in with an objective mind, but my taste buds say this place is a no go -- so many better options in Colorado Springs if you get the Italian bug.

Who doesn't like Olive Garden?? Lol. This location is nice and staff are friendly. We ordered fried mozzarella for an appetizer and it's always good. I ordered the lunch duo of salad and spaghetti with meat sauce. I like my pasta Al dente but this was a little much, very chewy. Be prepared if you order the lunch duo...portions are very small. I knew this a head of time, but this could be really surprising for someone who is use to eating bigger portions. I took three kiddos and they each ordered Mac and cheese off the kids menu, which is always a hit. Definitely a step up from microwaved/powdered cheese variety they love to eat...yuck! Lol. We'll definitely be going back to this location.

Olive Garden has simply gone downhill. Went for dinner last night with my daughter. Plus--didn't have to wait, negative--strange odor in parking lot and upon entering restaurant. Got to our table and was greeted by a sweet waiter named Nick. Plus--he made our visit enjoyable, negative--he was the only thing enjoyable. Ordered our food which came out quickly. Salad was as expected as well as the soup. Breadsticks were too hard, either they were old or had been sitting in the oven too long. Dinner was not as good as I would have hoped. I ordered the steak Gorgonzola and my daughter the pasta with Alfredo sauce and Italian sausage. The steak Gorgonzola was sad...the steak was extremely thin and over cooked, the balsamic drizzle had no punch---tasted watered down, and where was the Gorgonzola? I had no traces of cheese on my plate what-so-ever. My daughter's Italian sausage was overcooked and dry--and her pasta was a bit dried out even with the sauce. Needless to say, we won't be returning. If you want good Italian food go some place else, this place is not it! I gave them two stars only for the speed of the food and the sweet waiter.

Absolutely worst food and service I've ever had - waited for almost an hour for our bill - food dry and tasteless - I would give less than one star if possible - stay away!

Food was excellent. Service was excellent also. It's been a few years since I've been here.but I'd come back based on today's dinner. Server was nice and attentive. Noise level was good.

So I decided to grab some Olive Garden and I got to say their quality has gone way down. So the service here was excellent that's why I give it two stars but the food was a 1 star. I really believe that the quality of the ingredients has gone down because the chicken Alfredo I had just wasn't the same at all as how it used to be. The sauce was bland the chicken flavorless and also with bad texture like if it was boiled or frozen. It was quite disappointing because the chicken Alfredo here used to be so good. I would avoid this place and go to another Italian place that doesn't taste so bland and cheap.

A friend and I went to this Olive Garden last Wednesday and had a fabulous experience. I wish I could remember the waitresses name, because she was great. We got the unlimited soup, salad, and bread sticks. The food was great and our waitress never made us wait. She was there just at the right time to bring us more soup. I will be back again for lunch. Pleasant and cheaper than going to most fast food places.

I went here on Saturday 26 October 2013 at 2pm. The restaurant was pretty much empty. I went up and told the hostess that we had 5 people she took down my name and told me to take a seat and wait to be seated. I looked around and saw many tables open but sat down anyways. 15 minutes later and after seeing a couple groups of 4 and a few of 2 be seated I went up and asked when we would be seated. The hostess replied saying that its hard to seat 5 people because tables are only made for 4 and would need to put one together for 5. I looked around again and sure enough there were tables EVERYWHERE seating 6. She replied and said that she would seat us soon. After another 5 minutes we were finally seated, at a table for 6 that had been open the entire time. We ordered some appetizers which were okay and all did the buy one bring a meal home which was a good deal. Food was alright but not anything spectacular. Will go to a more local Italian restaurant from now on.

Its pricey for what it is, low quality food. Part of the pasta was crunchy, salad was soggy, bread was actually not bad. The only reasons why I gave it two stars was because the customer service was great! I had a waiter named Andrew and he was attentive, helpful, and funny. Our drinks never went empty. I recommend this place if you don't care about bad quality food, but care about great customer service...or you have a gift card because Olive Garden is expensive now!

Always good food and great service. This is our 6 year old daughter's favorite place to eat! The current Cuccina Mia special is great with the Spicy Diablo sauce.

All I can say is lame......... Server tried, food bland and nookie soup had ONE nookie. We came early 11:20 am on a Sunday and the place was dead and the staff acted like it too.

When did this place get so expensive? I went in there for dinner and expected to be able to choose a decent meal for around $12-13 but found that I couldn't really get anything other than a salad for under $16! There are so many other restaurants I would rather spend $16 on! And that was without a drink or anything! The food was just ok, but the price may have made it taste worse. The price and food aside, the service here is TERRIBLE. It's not that they aren't attentive, it's that they try to up-sell you at every turn! It goes far beyond the usual 'would you like desert tonight' suggestions and borderlines harassment. I will not be back to any Olive Garden.

Definitely not a fan, the soup and breadsticks are the only foods I would go to this restaurant for.

I ordered the stuffed chicken marsala with garlic mashed potatoes and a salad and the bread sticks, to go. The salad, bread sticks, and mashed potatoes were really good but the chicken marsala was not so good. I could literally taste the alcohol they used in the sauce so much that I could not stomach it. It was that strong. I had to eat around what wasn't soaked in the sauce. I don't know what happened, usually when I order this, it's really really good.

This review is for our experience last night. It made us want to become regulars at Olive Garden again! First of all, if you sign up online you get frequent coupons and around your birthday you get a free appetizer or dessert which is a great deal. They also offer online ordering for carryout which we've tried and works really well. Last night, we were extremely impressed by our server Frank W. He was on top of everything! We never had to ask for anything- he thought of everything we might need and was timely and friendly. We were surprised at how great he was- sometimes you have good service and you appreciate it but this was so good that we were taken aback by it. The food was great. We got an appetizer sampler with my birthday coupon (we got chicken fingers and toasted ravioli since I'm picky and don't like cheese and that's hard to do at an Italian restaurant) and they were both good but we particularly loved the toasted ravioli- it was crispy and very flavorful- delicious. My husband loves the chicken and gnocchi soup and gets it every time. I got the salad since it had been a while and it was just OK- I think I'll go back to the minestrone next time. The breadsticks were great as always and we didn't even have to ask for more- Frank W saw we were ready for more right away without a word. One time a couple of months ago there was a special where you can take home an entree at the end of your meal for a special price and I tried the spaghetti with meat sauce and fell in love with it. That's my new favorite, even though it sounds boring, because it is so tasty. My husband got whole wheat linguini with spicy three meat sauce and he added Italian sausage- he thought it was great too. We took home the majority of our pastas since we had so much of the appetizers/soup/salad/breadsticks and they reheated perfectly today for lunch. They even have cool bags you can use to reheat your breadsticks perfectly. I got one of their nonalcoholic drinks- it was a cranberry orange lemonade spritzer type drink and it was very pretty and very tasty! I'd totally get it again. All in all we had a really great experience here. I'm not sure why Olive Garden gets a bad rap sometimes- the food was perfect and our service was top notch. Even the guy who walked us to our table was friendly and funny. We will definitely be back soon, and really appreciate the great coupons too.

I enjoy Olive Garden and it helps my husband is a Darden Manager so we do get a nice discount and can use his rewards card. But I enjoy the food, its simple and straight forward and we always have a nice experience when we dine here.

Chefs cook their food different than every other olive garden in the country. And it's terrible!!!

If you order the chicken parmesean, order the sandwich for $9.99 and not the meal for $11.99. You get twice as much chicken in the sancwich as the meal and the meal costs $3.00 more. Only difference is you get cheap spaghetti in the meal and french fries with the sandwich. But they would switch french fries for spaghetti if you wanted. You still get the soup or salad with either meal. Couldn't believe it when I saw the difference. They give you a very little 3 oz portion for the meal. Order the chicken parmesean sandwich and take the chicken off the sandwich bread and you will get 2 - 3 oz portions for your meal. The chicken parmesean was good and the very same for the sandwich as for the meal.

Food is good but they just can't get the service part right. After a few visits I hear the same tune and it is getting fastidious. While admittedly we were there on a Saturday night, the quoted seating and actual wait time we're very different. When I asked to talk to the manager he was dismissive, borderline rude. After calling ahead 20 minutes and waiting at the restaurant for 50, I asked to talk to the manager. When he exhibited the poor attitude I mentioned, I asked who his manager was and he said he would give me the 800 corporate number. I declined and asked him for his name instead. Don't think I'll go back

Miserable experience. My wife, 5 year old granddaughter and I stopped for supper. I have eaten at many Olive Gardens across the country with good experiences. Tonight the service was horrible! Couldn't get a drink refill, the entrees arrived very late and before the salad and soup. The manager sent the entrees back and the salad/soup showed up, but then the entrees took forever to re-appear. When they did the Talipia was nearly tasteless. All the while we watched tables that had arrived much later than we eat and leave. Go elsewhere.

Worst service ever. We sat there forever waiting for a drink order. It's worth it to me to go elsewhere to avoid that. "Aaron", our mystery waiter never showed up. Cant rate food when you cant get served. Sooo, I wrote this review when I was sitting at my table, completely annoyed at the invisible waiter. He finally turned up and was SUPER creepy. I kid you not. Anyway, the manager finally came over, assigned us a new waitress (she was great! Thanks Nicole!). The manager and the new waitress both apologized, and took care of us the rest of the evening. The food was great, and the service (after our little mishap) was great. They gave us our meal for free, and I feel like they redeemed themselves. Hopefully they've resolved that "waiter" issue.

Good food, spotty service. After numerous visits to this location, I feel I can comment on various trends I have noted. Food: Generally very good and satisfying and the reason we go back. Love the soups and alfredo. May or may not be "authentic" but we like it. DId have an issue one night where a plastic part of the Coke machine fell into my drink and the server failed to notice it before serving it to me. Service: Hit or miss...most often miss. Last visit...good service. Previous visit, excellent service. Several before that mediocre to terrible. There was one night that we spent over 2.5 hrs there because their "system was down" though we noticed numerous other later-arrival parties getting served long before us. They did notify us at the beginning of the meal that they were having issues with the system and it definitely did cause a lot of swirl among them. On the upside, every time I have mentioned a problem to the waiter, we always get a response from the manager and some concession is always offered (though not always accepted...I am not a freeloader). Indeed, the night we spent so much time there I did not even have to complain...the waiter, also frustrated by the slowness in the kitchen, must have notified the boss and the manager came over and told us the entire meal was on the house. For a party of 6, that was not insignificant. On another occasion the waiter asked how our dishes were and I gave an honest assessment that (one of their periodic special dishes) was not very good and especially bland but that was probably just my personal tastes rather than anything inherently wrong with the dish. They tried (hard really) to offer me a replacement dish or credit my bill but I politely refused because I firmly believed they did not hing wrong. Overall, it seems the management is trying hard to improve service, but as with any chain restaurant I'm sure server turnover is very high and landing talented servers is difficult.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
